I was fortunate enough to attend the inaugural FemDom Summit last year and had so many positive interactions and experiences that I was positively bubbling about it.\u00a0 It was a no brainer when the 2nd annual IFS was announced that I would be there.\u00a0 And it did not disappoint.<\/p>\n
First, I have said this privately, but now I will say it publicly for the first time:\u00a0 European Dommes (at least the ones I’ve met) seem much more supportive of each other than their American counterparts.\u00a0 They lift each other up, freely offer insights and care about continuing the connection beyond the obligatory photo op.\u00a0 I have been very happy with my choice to move here and be a part of this community.\u00a0 The IFS personifies all of this, encourages and facilitates connections and does it with style and flare – all of which is synonymous with its creators:\u00a0 Mistress Kennya<\/a><\/span> and Matriarch Ezada Sinn<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n This year’s summit was a visual feast.\u00a0 It was the most stunning group of Women I have ever seen in one place and it was a veritable who’s who of FemDom Icons.\u00a0 I have to say I got a little giddy being in the same room with all that Feminine power.\u00a0 The backdrop for this star power was equally glamorous and the events were flawless.\u00a0 Of all the “adult conventions” I have attended, this one grabs the brass ring.<\/p>\n Now a little back story:\u00a0 All attendees were asked to submit photos and something about themselves to the organizers.\u00a0 I knew from last year that this was for the awards ceremony the final night.\u00a0 Public speaking is one of the few things that have always made me uncomfortable, so I sent back a reply opting out.\u00a0 The night of the gala, I am sitting with my friends, all comfortable in the knowledge that I will not be called to the stage, when I hear the phrase “Originally from Atlanta . . . ”<\/p>\n Here is my very awkward acceptance speech.<\/p>\n
